THE DROPSTITCH
Drop stitch is the name given to the material inside an inflatable board. Thousands of tiny threads run throughout the inside of the board, between the top and bottom layers. As the board is inflated the threads pull tight and help to give it it's shape. The small dimples on the surface of an inflatable SUP show were the threads run to. Linear Dropstich is used in many cheaper boards from budget brands, this cheap material cannot hold high pressure. You can tell a linear dropstitch by the linear dimples on the board's surface.

THE LAYERS
PREMIUM GRADE INFLATION VALVE - Because it’s the only place air can get in or out of your board, the valve has to be manufactured to exacting standards. Red Paddle Co valves are super strong and create an air- and water-tight seal.
THERMOSEALED CROCODILE DECKPAD - Machine pressed at 170psi to ensure a perfect bond. Grippy ‘crocodile’ finish helps you grip the deck pad with your feet.
SECOND LAYER RAIL TAPE - Creates the seal on the quadruple layer rail.
RAIL HEAT SEAM - High-pressure laminated, heat-pressed seam creates an airtight, waterproof seal that can withstand anything you can throw at it.
MSL FUSION COMPOSITE AND AIRTIGHT COATING - For lightness and rigidity at lower pressures.
SUPER REINFORCED DROPSTITCH - For a high tensile rigid core that can withstand pressure beyond 20psi.
ROCKER STIFFENING SYSTEM
Unique to Red Paddle Co – The Rocker Stiffening System was designed and patented to make some of the smaller and expert Red Paddle Co boards even stiffer. Boards that feature RSS come with two stiffening battens which can be slotted into pockets that are individually laminated onto the side of the board. The effect of RSS depends on the thickness of the board. In 4" think SUPs including The Whip, 9'8 Ride and 11' Sport it has been proven to make the board up to 40% stiffer. In 6" thick boards including the Race, Elite Race and 12'2 Explorer the board is up to 10% stiffer with RSS. In the 5" thick boards in the Red Paddle Co range and those that do not come with RSS, it has been deemed that the advantages would be too minimal so it is not included.
THE FINS
THE iFIN SYSTEM
The majority of Red Paddle Co SUPs come with built-in fins – the iFin system. These fins are moulded to be ultra-durable and easy to pack away for transport. There is no need for any tools, replacements or spares with the Red Paddle Co iFin system. Even if the fins were to get bent out of shape, they can be reshaped by simply pouring hot water over them. We are 100 per cent confident in the performance and durability of the tried and tested Red Paddle Co iFin system.
US FIN BOX SYSTEM
The Red Paddle Co removable US Fin Box system is featured on the Windsup, The Whip, Sport, Explorer, Race and Elite SUP boards. The boxes are moulded in hard-wearing plastic and the fin that is supplied depends on the chosen board. The fin is attached using a simple nut and bolt system that can be tightened with the fingers, meaning no tools are needed. The fin box is designed to deflect blows from rocks, ensuring this fin is both durable and offers high performance.
THE BACKPACK
Travel is one of the most exciting parts of owning an inflatable SUP. All Red Paddle Co SUPs come with their backpack that was designed to make transporting and storing your SUP as easy and comfortable as possible.

The new Red Paddle Co board construction enables their boards to roll up tighter than ever before. The full backpack is now more streamlined than previous models. There is also a weight saving of around 2kg.
THE TITAN PUMP
All Red Paddle Co SUPs come supplied with the Red Paddle Co Titan Pump as standard. The innovative Dual-Chamber system and Hi-Flo handle make it possible to pump air into the board at over 60mph. This makes reaching the recommended pressure of 15-20psi faster and easier than ever before. You will use less energy through less pumping, leaving more energy for where it matters... on the water.
