The buoyancy aid has a long body, which is well-suited for paddleboarding, feels comfortable and looks great too!
This Baltic buoyancy aid is suitable for beginners as well as experienced paddlers, it is designed to give the user maximum mobility while paddling with a unique design and sectioning of the buoyancy internal foam on the front.
This SUP Specific life jacket is thin, compact and flexible which makes it easier for the wearer to get up on the board from the water.
The Baltic Elite has an easy side zip, making it easy to get on and off.
Adjustable shoulder straps and waist straps make this buoyancy aid comfortable for everyone but the extra care in design is especially noticeable for those that are large-chested.
The elasticated straps at the back of the buoyancy aid allow kit to be carried, A great add-on for those wanting somewhere to store an extra layer as an example.
There is also a pocket at the back of the buoyancy aid for a hydration pack, a great idea for those that like to stay hydrated on long adventures without having to stop to get water from the front of the board.
The Elite buoyancy aid has a zip (not waterproof) pocket on the front of the buoyancy aid and a net inner pocket which we think is great for emergency storage, for gloves or a hat for example, if you just need to put them somewhere safe whilst paddling.

We give the Baltic Elite 5 stars for a genuine well thought-out product that has some exceptional design features and is pretty well priced in comparison to similar products.
The shoulder strap and waist straps, along with the 2 part foam design, give a genuinely higher degree of comfort.
At SUP inflatables we did feel there was a high need for something to come to the market that supported riders that are larger chested and this product definitely offers this.
This buoyancy aid also offers riders a stylish offering, been longer waisted it does look better than buoyancy aids that are designed for 'all' paddle sports. So if style alongside safety and of course comfort is important then this buoyancy aid, we feel, won't disappoint!
What's similar in the market and which one do we prefer?
We feel the Baltic Elite, Baltic Pro and Red Paddle Co SUP buoyancy aid all have similarities, and so they should! as they are all made by Baltic... We feel The Elite wins the top slot of being the best, as we feel it has the best design features over all the others.
The Baltic Pro is slightly cheaper but does NOT have the shoulder straps, which is the part of the design that makes the Elite exceptionally comfortable and the Red Paddle Co SUP buoyancy aid, even though it's quite a bit more expensive, does not have the back elastic or hydration pack so we feel the Red is for those that prefer the colors and/ or want the buoyancy aid to match there Red Paddle Co board.
