Hi everyone,
We just wanted to give everyone the heads up that we won’t be at the Southampton Boat Show this year. It’s totally accidental to be honest! The Boat Show sales team didn’t call to rebook and we’ve been so busy here at SUP Inflatables HQ that we all just assumed someone else had done it!
For anyone that’s ever been to the Boat Show you will know that for the guys that are on the stands its a long 10 days. We all love it but OMG we are shattered afterwards! So, as much as we are going to be very sad not to see everyone there, we are also a little excited to be out paddling at the end of the summer and not to be shattered for 2 weeks making our old bones play catchup!

Why we have always been at the Boat Show
We have attended the Boat Show for many years and talked paddleboards to thousands! We’ve always been there to cut through the sales hype, exaggeration and misdirection that occurs and to provide honest and accurate buyers’ information to paddlers and would-be paddlers alike. What is dropstitch? What is a double and triple rail edge? Why choose a 4.7” think board over a 6” thick one? We’ve explained it all so that everyone can buy an incredible board, in budget, and in the right size for them.

What we are doing instead
Not being at the Boat Show this year has allowed us to gain a bit of brain space for the future and we are looking forward to setting up a little event where everyone can come and chat to us. It will be in a location where we can paddle and try lots of different brands and shapes of boards. A SUP specific event is going to be the new mission, one event at the beginning of the season and another at the end. We have yet to set this date up but we will be in touch asap with details of this new SUPtastic day out!
